System for eco driving
SkyTrack application for eco driving was developed for companies with a large number of smaller vehicles to reduce costs of fuel and repairs, also to increase security and safety of vehicles and people. The basic idea of the system to monitor the driving of the vehicle and inform the driver what is the optimal gear for his current speed. The system also sends that data in to the central server so the system user can monitor the data.
System monitors the position of the gas pedal, the current gear and RPM using that data to calculate the optimal gear at that time. The system can be installed in to newer vehicles that have a CAN BUS. The system also monitors the speed of the vehicle and alerts the driver when excides the speed limit for a longer period of time. The driver is alerted with visual and auditory signals.
Alarms inform the user of all critical situations in the vehicle like: long term exciding of speed limit, long driving in high RPM, driving without a seatbelt and status of doors and lights.
Business intelligence provides the user with statistical data about driving for every driver and points to risky behavior and driving outside the guidelines of the system.
