The solution for delivery optimization approaches the problem of delivery in a dynamic and modern way that reduces cost and increases efficiency. the solution is divided in three parts: 1. logistics makes the plan of delivery and assign the goods to the vehicles while optimizing the route and the order of deliveries for each vehicle, 2. the warehouse workers make the necessary adjustments to the plan and finalize the plan, 3. logistics and sales department review the execution of the plan and report on the execution.
SkyTrack Logistics
The application for making the plan of delivery, used by the logistics department. 3rd party integration with the client’s business software enables the system to access the orders from sales records thus automatically assign the goods to vehicles and optimize the delivery routes for all vehicles. This delivery solution is then customized by the logistics user and he can make manual adjustments to the solution. The customized solution is called the delivery plan and as such can be forwarded to the warehouse for finalization. This solution optimizes the delivery in a way that can’t be done manually in real time by the logistics department. It provides an optimized solution in 15-20 minutes opposed to having an un-optimized manual solution that takes several hours to complete.
SkyTrack Delivery
The application for finalization of the delivery plan, used by warehouse workers. Warehouse workers make the necessary adjustments and finalize the plan, make travel worksheets and waybills for all vehicles. The adjustments to plan consist of transferring the goods from unavailable vehicles to other available ones and removing unavailable goods from the delivery plan, the warehouse workers can’t make major changes to the plan. The application can work as standalone software without the delivery plan from SkyTrack Logistics, thus used for making an un-optimized plan of delivery by assigning the goods to the vehicles.
SkyTrack Dispatcher
Application for review of the delivery plan and execution, used by logistics and sales department. 3rd party integration with the delivery worker’s HHT devices enables the real time transfer of data on finished and unfinished deliveries with the description written by the driver or other delivery worker. The user can see in real time all deliveries ant their status. Reports within the application provide the data on delivery execution and the cost of each delivery (cost per drive and cost per visited objects).
