Telemetry and sensors
Sensor data and engine telemetry data provide information that is essential for better interpretation of vehicle events and drives, also improving the quality of overview of critical situations like delivery.
Sensors
Sensors are connected to the SkyTrack Mobile device that forwards their data to SkyTrack central server database so user can review it. SkyTrack system is modular and allows 3rd party integration, which enables a great number of different sensors to be connected to the STM device. The system offers a number of standard sensors and allows installations tailored to specific needs of the client.
Standard SkyTrack sensors:
* Temperature probes: measuring temperature in cargo space (HACCP)
* Magnetic switches: registering door or valve opening, ramp movement
* Tank level sensor: registers fuel level in the vehicle
* HART modem: connection with micromotion gas flow sensor
* Engine or cooling unit work sensor: detects turning on the cooling unit or engine
* Control switches: panic buttons, engine disabling button, armored vehicle lockdown switch.
Telemetry data
Engine telemetry data comes from the CAN bus and through the STM device are forwarded to SkyTrack central server database in real time so the user can review them promptly.
Standard engine telemetry and vehicle peripheral data:
* RPM
* Fuel consumption (current and long term average)
* Air conditioning status
* Gas pedal position
* Vehicle speed
* Other peripheral devices (airbags, fuel tank lid, seatbelts)
